We came in as replacement architects to this refurbishment project. Any architect working in urban London will tell you that it's a nightmare trying to keep the neighbours happy, accommodating delivery lorries, party wall agreements, et cetera. Miraculously, there was little of that here.

The basement was dug out to accommodate a new kitchen/dining room leading to the rear garden and patio. A guest room was designed for the front with its own private entrance. Our interior designer client Annie brought a tasteful eclecticism to the project and our contribution was to bring in large areas of natural light and creating elegant areas throughout the house. Each room was carefully designed and fitted out, completely transforming an otherwise ordinary town house into a bright and stylish town house.
